Shai Shemesh, president of Shemesh Automation, told FoodBev: “By automating their filling processes, food and beverage manufacturers can unlock financial and sustainability savings thanks to faster, more efficient filling and reduced waste”.
He continued: “Depending on the volume of the filling required and the properties of the liquid or solid product, it could take hours for a single human to fill 200 containers”. However, with automated filling systems, this task can be accomplished in a fraction of the time.
