Shemesh hits the road with the hottest in show-stopping packaging solutions
Shemesh Automation will be globetrotting to showcase its latest state-of-the-art technologies at two of the world’s industry-leading events – PPMA (Stand D12) at the NEC in Birmingham, England on September 27-29 and PackExpo (Booth N-6370) October 23-26 at McCormick Place, Chicago, USA.
Taking centre stage in Birmingham and Chicago will be the Attilus, an exciting new capping solution coming to fruition after many months of R&D. The Attilus encompasses advanced vision and robotic systems that will set a new benchmark for versatility in packaging across multiple market sectors.
It is capable of sorting up to an unrivalled nine different shaped caps from the most complex screw tops to trigger springs at up to 80ppm – without the need for lengthy changeovers. It’s a robust system that will boost productivity, is easy to operate and reduces downtime.
Also on the agenda for show visitors is the only entire uninterrupted bottling line for gummies and jellies where all the core machinery is made by just one manufacturer. That would be Shemesh’s highly innovative 60 products per minute A-Z gummies packaging line, the TKS-G60.
Decades of engineering expertise has been applied by Shemesh to seamlessly combine a unique sequence of technologies that feed, fill, cap and label bottles and gummies of all common sizes – and ultimately case pack and palletize them too.
Another interesting piece of Shemesh equipment for attendees in Birmingham and Chicago to focus on is the game-changing Falcon, developed specifically for difficult abrasive materials. This high-speed net weight filler incorporates the Deenex trays denester as well as a unique parallel servo-driven indexing conveyor for maximising throughput potential. Applicable across multiple sectors, from chemicals to food and beverage packaging, the creative design makes the Falcon suitable for filling a broad range of liquids with optional features such as hot fill and product agitation in an interim tank.
Last but certainly not least to feature in both shows is Shemesh’s all-new turnkey line for household products – the TKS-B100. This exceptionally versatile line is capable of packaging the full spectrum of common household products – from bleach to window cleaner – with the same, smart machinery.
Thanks to the advanced robotics built into the line, all common container and cap-types can be accommodated almost without the need for change parts – generating huge savings in parts costs and downtime.
The TKS-B100 includes brand new Shemesh machines, such as the ETNA multi bottle shape robotic feeder & orientation system, the STRATUM-MF Mass Flow Meter Liquid Filling Machine, the ATTILUS – Continuous Motion Capper with Vision System and Robotic Sorter and robotic end of line solutions. A complete A-Z solution, the TKS-B100 transforms empty containers into pallets of case packed, filled, capped and labelled products at speeds of up to 100ppm.
Shemesh Automation’s VP Global Sales & Business Development, Yonatan Levy, says: “Our equipment is designed to solve real Achilles heels in current standard packaging line designs, so it makes sense for us to demonstrate this at two of the globe’s most industry-specific exhibitions. We are thrilled to be going to the NEC (Stand D12) and McCormick Place (Booth N-6370) where our teams will be on hand to present unrivalled packaging solutions.”
The flexibility of the Shemesh equipment means it is suitable for most sectors, as testified by many customers including Legacy Converting Inc. Founder & CEO, Jason Slosberg, says: “Great product, great team! Shemesh delivered a turnkey production line as promised under extraordinary circumstances during the pandemic. We would certainly consider partnering with them again in the future and highly recommend their products and services.”
Shemesh’s attendance at PPMA and PackExpo will give visitors to the shows the chance to learn about its proven expertise in different technologies, such as liquid filling and capping. The company is looking forward to sharing its vision on class-leading packaging solutions.
